Dr. Zephron Gabriel Newmark, MD

My appointment with Dr Newmark started off on a bad note and did not improve. When he shook my hand, he squeezed so hard that he drove my ring into my flesh and it hurt for quite some time. Then he proceeded to diagnose me with virus-caused anosmia and basically said, well, you may get your senses of smell and taste back, you may not. He might as well have said don't let the door hit you in the fanny on the way out, stop wasting my time. I found him cold, unsympathetic, and dismissive. He seemed to be unconcerned that I had lost two of my five senses, and had no real treatment to offer of help. I would not recommend this doctor for anyone suffering anosmia.

Great guy. I had a minor surgery and he treated me like I was his only patient. He may seem a little off putting at first but he is great. My first couple appointments he seemed like he didnt want to be bothered by me and he didnt want to be there but that changed. I guess he was just having a bad day.(even doctors are allowed. we need to be more forgiving) After that I learned he is a real jokester. Very pleasant. Very kind. Very attentive. If you see him regularly you will see what I mean. I have a lung disease with very chronic sinus problems and he made my lungs so much easier to deal with. I dont get nearly as many sinus infections either. It has been 2 years since I have had any real blockage problems. After my surgery I had to see him about 2 or 3 times a week to get cleaned out and even with scopes and lights crammed up my nose his demeanor and bed side manner made it easy to handle. I cant recommend him enough. He is very experienced and very nice.
