Dr. Zhanna Libis, MD

I questioned her on a prescribed medication, she responded as the typical prideful Dr. That gets offended if you questioned or express your thoughts on certain medications ,she was disrespectul telling me that i had no idea of what I was saying and that i should study medicine, she asked me if i had a medical certification? said she had many years on the field and the medicine she prescribed " came not from the sky ". Basically, if we don't have a medical license we don't have the right to ask her questions, express your concerns/ thoughts about a medication that was prescribe to your children. This type of attitude doesnt give mothers/ guardians the confidence they should have towards the people in charge of their childrens health. she said all she wanted to said and hung up without giving me time to finish all i had to say. Even if she was in a Bad mood or was right on choosing that specific medication that still is not the proper way to explain to ppl. I usually don't… like writting negative reviews but since i know this is related to matters of health i think is important for other ppl to know in order to make a more informed decisión, when choosing Doctors.

doctor Libis is my daughter's primary doctor and I m quit pleased with her , she answers all my question and seem very professional, but my only complaint is that equipment at office very old and they diffenetly should renovate inside and keep clean office .

She has cared for my daughter from toddler to adulthood. Unfortunately this year she had to release her because she turned 18 years of age. My daughter did not care that she was the oldest patient amongst the young. She loved Dr. Libis. Trying to find another one like her.

I had just switched from my previous doctor because the doctor would not give my children (twins) their vaccines. They were congested for months because they had just started daycare but were fine overall. That's when I found Dr. Libis and she gave me the ok. She was right. So since then, I noticed the office, especially the perth amboy office, has an extreme number of patients which makes the office look unprofessional. The toys are old and they look dirty. Her staff are nice. She's a nice woman but she doesn't always know the answer especially when it comes to different skin issues within different cultural/race/ethnicity. She's not racist but very opinionated. As my children became older, I started to look for a different doctor because her office was too busy : too many patients, I'm being rushed at almost every appointment, they don't have online access to records or appointment, they don't follow-up with the patient, and they don't offer late hours. Overall she's an ok doctor… that does her job. I have twins and I need convenience.

Well since day one it was awful I used to take my oldest there when he was younger well turns out during my pregnancy they found a heart murmur but they couldn't confirm until he was born my son went to doctor libis' office for 13 months her and the other doctors working there "never heard it " my son was born small and skinny and he only gained 1lb per month every month i told them my concern they gave him all kinds of vitamins they changed his milk almost 10 times in one year! in a week of him being born dr libis changed it 3 times and since then he started suffering from really bad constipation! i would call and go in all the time crying in tears because my son was suffering and at that time he was on the most sensitive formula ever that would normally cause diharrea I asked them to run tests they refused one day dr libis sent him to get admitted she ran all the tests in the world and found nothing wrong her conclusion was im a first time mom so im not a good mom! On another… occasion i go in to get his wic form filled for the pediasure they had him on and her associate decideds to scream at me in front of everyone in the waiting room while having her back towards me that it is ridiculous she has to sign anything that she cant sign the paper because my child "has issues" really?? calling there is like trying to get in touch with the president its ridiculous

Doctor libis can be very rude sometimes. And she doesnt like when people ask a lot of questions when they are concerened about their child. She tries to get rid of you quick. One time i was worried about my sons weight because he wasnt eating. Than she made a racial conment about how spanish moms always complain about their childs weight. I found this very offensive. She treats other patients better than some. Shes very nosey.

First time mom here and this doctor actually takes the time to draw pictures to show me how to use her prescription! She definitely tells me how it is.. if i am not doing something that i should be, she doesnt hesitate to tell me. She tries to not prescribe drugs unless necessary. She spreads out the shot dosage so that the child does not get more than 3 at once. I wish i could find a primary care physician like her for myself! We use her Edison office.
