Dr. Ziyad Hasan Mugharbil, MD

I took 3 PSA tests. Oct. 4.7, Jan. 5.9, Feb. 4.3. Jan was after sex and that raises it so I took the test again. He came in on a first meeting and after introducing himself abruptly said, "Your PSA results are climbing quickly. We have to do a biopsy." Me, "that's not what I see." Him, "let me see." After showing him he continued on the course of selling me a procedure. It was like he was hammering me. We're sitting 3' apart and he gets a cell call. He stayed right there. I could hear everything. It was not a call he needed to take then. I patted him on the knee and said, "Bye." To his credit, he called me back and apologized for taking the call. I told him that maybe we'd have had something to talk about if he didn't misread my results. His response was that he'd read them quickly before entering the room so as not to have to read them in front of me. My response? "Do you know what happened when doctors make mistakes?" No thanks. I need a doctor who is on top of it. I'm not writing… this to get even. I'm writing this to say be careful. You be on YOUR game. Had I not had my results with me I'd have done anything he wanted. Don't give your power over to every doctor you meet. He didn't care enough about me to be careful. He didn't care enough about me to get off the call and call them back.

We had to see him because our other doctor had a family emergency. My boyfriend had been tested for testicular pain, he was told he had cancer, but dr mugharbil told him he would die from it since he couldnt pay for his visits. He is healthy today and cancer free. This doctor is terrible and will refuse you if you cannot pay or have insurance.
