Dr. Zuhair Habib Yaseen, MD

Firstly I filled out an extensive amount of paperwork detailing my medical history I worked really hard even speaking with my estranged mother for more information. He and his staff didn't even bother reading it before my appointment and literally asked me every question verbally while they had all the answers in front of them. Like what an extreme waste of both of our times. The doctor Yasheen enters and hasn't bothered to look over my chart his nurse prepared, asks me all the same questions again. He made some off handed comments about how my condition is probably in my head, and that and I quote "sometimes we just have pains for no reason" on my first visit with him. I insisted because even though I could manage the pain didn't mean nothing was wrong and I felt it needed to be checked. He kept talking over me and failed to listen to me. Ultimately he decided to order tests bc I was pushing for answers and basically to prove their was nothing wrong to me. I have to wonder if he… talks over everyone or just the women? He told me to change my diet said it was the cause of all my problems, without even discussing what I actually eat? How could he possibly draw that conclusion without asking me a single question about my diet? Laziness is how. Instead of finding the cause of people's illness he just hands them a paper about fodmaps and doesn't even explain the diet to. Never explained it was a temporary elimination diet to find what foods may be triggering an adverse response or anything. Never EXPLAINED any of it, but thankfully good old Google had my back and a decent explanation. Don't waste your time or money seeing this guy. Unless you enjoy being accused imagining your pain and being talked over.

Thought he was a great dr when we first started seeing him years ago but this last time did not feel that he heard a single word we said. He was in a rush and conversation/ diagnosis did not change based on lifestyle changes that have been made by me over the years. Just gave cookie cutter response to questions, etc. from what I could tell.

My story is too long for this. At the very least, take this as a warning to just talk to another doctor before going to Yaseen.

Dr. Yaseen was patient and did not rush me. He answered questions thoroughly. I felt much more relaxed & confident about my health when I left.
