Dr. Zulfiqar Ahmed, MD

I would never recommend Dr. Ahmed he doesn't listen and he yelled at me. I have been going here for years. He doesn't listen and doesn't spend the time with you.

Best Psychiatrist. I trust him a lot. He diagnosed me correctly and prescribed medication that actually helped a lot. He listens to me and I find him very empathetic. He treats several of my family members as well and we all simply love the doctor. Matthew

First time I met with him I told him about the things I had been feeling and he gave me a lot of level reasoned thoughts and prescribed me with a few different medications. He told me at the time that the medications were below the standard amount because he wanted to see how much help I needed. We rescheduled 3 weeks later and he asked how i had been feeling since taking the medicine. I told him i definitely hadn't felt better and sometimes felt even worse. I asked him if maybe the dosage was too low because it wasn't the standard dose and needed to be adjusted. He told me the dosage was fine and was the regular dose when 3 weeks prior he told me they were below the standard level. and very rudely said he will not continue and kicked me out of his office. he spent all of 5 minutes with me in our second meeting to determine I was not worth his time or I was a bad patient in some way. He hurts your mental health more than helps. find a better psychiatrist.

Saw the doctor? for all of 20 seconds during intake with PA. He came in and prescribed two meds then left. They canceled my first counseling appointment, saying they would CALL ME to arrange another appointment. Never did. I called and arranged it only to show up to be told it had been canceled as well as they couldn’t “accommodate” me. Why you ask. I allegedly asked the PA “personal questions”! I recalled asking her age as she looked very young. Apparently in the “Me Too Movement”. a male patient must just sit and shut up. The office manager insisted I had been noticed. Never happened. I also had an adverse reaction to one of the meds and was told by OFFICE MANAGER to call pharmacist about withdrawal from the med as doctor was not around. I went here to handle stress and anxiety only to leave with more.

treats patients with a history of addiction horribly. thinks everyone is a drug seeker and is overall not very nice. told me to my face he did not trust me even though i have been clean for years and was willing to take a DRUG TEST to prove it!

5 years of experience with this physician. There aren't not records kept on patients for extended periods if at all. Additionally, he contradicts information from one appointment to the next. Truly flakey. Warned.

He is a pseudo psychiatrist that almost ruins my life. When I asked him my daughter's diagnosis he prefer to throw me out of his office than tell me why and for what he wanted to give her all the medication. He doesn't care for his patients and their well being. Avoid him especially if he is treating a youngster.
