Dr. Zvi Strassberg, PhD

There are many negative reviews on Mr. Strassberg (can't believe he is a doctor). Our experience was also negative. He is inept, lazy, sloppy with his work, dishonest, and not somebody you want involved with any decisions about yourself or your children.

Parenting evaluation. He clearly has never had children himself and does not understand children, child development, or parent-child interactions and development. He changed things I said when he put them in his report. I was accused of things by the father of our children, their stepmother, and minimal things he distorted from my own day care givers, that he never asked me about. He simply took them at their word and exaggerated them. The father and stepmother made up lies, which he never asked me about. He also came up with his own bizarre accusations about me. He spent an enormous amount of time obsessing over certain e-mails of mine, turning his fantasies into a basis for taking things away from me. He delivered the report late, causing problems with the court and with our decisions, and causing us all undue stress. We would have been just as well or better off spending a day in court. Thousands of dollars wasted for an off-base report riddled with falsehoods both about me… and the father of our children. I found out later that stepmom not only lied to Dr. Strassberg but also manipulated my son to do weird things with me during the evaluation process, which Dr. Strassberg didn’t detect but of course attributed to me. He knows almost nothing about personality disorders, parental poison & manipulation, and parents & step-parents manipulating children and forming an alliance against the other parent.

If I could give him ZERO stars I would. He is a piss poor excuse for a psychologist. He will destroy your family. He destroyed mine 20 years ago and every year I continue to leave a poor review, hopefully to assist other families. DO NOT LET THIS MAN HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR CUSTODY CASE!! My daughter has PTSD as an adult now and has to see a psychologist herself twice per week. Heed my warning and AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

He’ll destroy your family. Avoid him like the plague! He’s dishonest and unethical, a disgrace to his profession.
