Dr. Edina Gorman, born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, moved to Virginia at the age of five and was inspired to become a dentist through her own experiences restoring her dental health. After graduating from John Randolph Tucker High School, she worked as a dental assistant while earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from VCU School of Dentistry. Passionate about helping underserved populations, Dr. Gorman completed a General Practice Residency at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, providing dental care to veterans, and traveled to Jamaica with the Christian Dental Society. A member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Richmond Dental Society, she volunteers with the Virginia Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy projects.
