Edith Marie Green

Holding an independent licensed in both Ohio and New Jersey, I have closed to 20 years experience helping individuals and couples resolve the issues that are bringing to therapy and end therapy with increased awareness and the ability and confidence to live the best version of their lives. After many years of working with clients of diverse backgrounds, I work with my clients to clarify treatment goals, increase self awareness, develop confidence, motivation, and commitment to live a healthy, quality life,as they have defined it.

I like to partner with my clients to customized a treatment plan that is most suitable to helping them define and address life issues that are bringing them to therapy.

I have successfully helped my client overcome their struggles with anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, longstanding issues with abandonment including being adopted, adult and childhood trauma, an adult survivor of abuse, no sense of purpose or direction in life, adult parenting, and …life transitioning. I believe everyone should have a safe healing space to work through life difficulties, which is why I do my very best to establish a non judgement, compassionate and authentic caring approach to providing therapy. My doctoral and graduate training includes psychodynamic therapy, CBT, Cognitive Restructuring, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Therapy, and Positive Psychology.
