When my husband needed to have a number of complicated tooth extractions, Dr. Joe was recommended to us by our local dentist even though it meant an hour's drive to his office. The trip was worth the time and effort as the dental procedure was painless using only a local anesthetic, and incredibly quick with a subsequent quick recovery. Consequently, later, when my need arose two different times for similar extensive procedures, I had so much confidence and trust in Dr. Joe’s incredible skills that I would not consider going to any other oral surgeon. Both my husband and I highly recommend Dr. Joe along with his highly professional and cheerful staff because of how satisfied we have been with our considerable experiences in their qualified hands.

I was referred to Dr. Doctora for extraction of a molar. The entire extraction and recovery process was professional and completely painless. He even personally called later that evening to ensure I wasn't having any problems. I never needed a single pain pill during the entire recovery period. I highly recommend his practice.

I had an appointment at 1pm and arrived early for my extraction. I was not called to the back until about 1:20 and they didn’t start until after 2:30pm. At this point it has almost been 24hrs since I’ve last eaten or had something to drink. My IV sedation didn’t work because they could not find a vein at this point so I had to get local anesthesia and be awake for the procedure. Prior to the procedure the staff came and gave a consultation about how much it would cost and said they would not start the procedure until it was paid. I think that if a patient submits all their paperwork prior to coming into the office this should have been taken care of beforehand or at least before I was called to the back to wait even longer. I also think that patients should be refunded for services that they don’t receive. Furthermore I don’t appreciate that I took the time to write down all the prescriptions that I was allergic to in my paperwork and stated them prior to surgery only for them to be… prescribed and sent to the pharmacy. I think that the situation could have been deadly if I had a severe allergy to the drugs prescribed and had not been paying attention to what I was given. This situation could have ended very bad. It was another inconvenience to an already long day because I had to wait for another prescription to be called in and at this point the local anesthesia has worn off and the pain was intense all while needing my gauze replaced and I still hadn’t eaten at this point. My prescription was also not sent to the pharmacy that I requested. I was also assured beforehand that the aftercare instructions would be discussed with my husband on how to change out my gauze and what things I could eat and it was not. Overall the staff was professional and answered the few questions I had. I think that the scheduling of patients could be done a little better and not overbook a dentist and have people wasting their day waiting to be seen.

The only 5 star this office gets is when the sign says "closed". Terrible office management. Apparently Dr. Doctora has hit prima dona status according to his staff. So much so, that if you want a CONSULT to see if you want to work with his office, they will charge you for the privilege. Save your money. They will charge you for air here. Pitiful.

Dr. Doctora is the consummate professional. I greatly appreciate his a calming and trustworthy demeanor that causes even me to relax right away despite my usual level of dental phobia. This was my 3rd visit over a few years. Each time it has been exactly the same safe caring environment. Every interaction with Dr. Doctora I am assured I have his complete focus which is very important to me. Oral surgery is not the most fun thing but, he's the person that I will choose every time.

I will never again step foot in his office again. Some of his staff was rude, unfriendly and disrespectful. I was not impressed with the doctor and his mannerism and professionalism. A patient mentioned to me that there were much better drs to see.

I had to have a couple of my molars extracted back in 2007, i visited Dr.. Doctora to have these procedures done. He explained other procedures that could be done because he truly cares about his patients and always has their best interest as first priority I would recommend him to anyone .
