Welcome! My name is Kaitlyn and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 10 years of mental health experience. I specialize in working with people who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, worried, or sad. Sometimes there are clear reasons why, such as a major life change or loss. Other times these feelings seem to come out of nowhere. In either case, my goal is to help you find new ways to manage and improve your quality of life. My approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which teaches people to have a better understanding of their patterns of thinking, feeling, acting, and communicating. Together, we can work to understand how your patterns might be keeping you from living your best life and develop skills that can help you feel more emotionally balanced and in control.
