“I am sharing this review to describe my own experience during an appointment with Dr. Rachel Bronsther. During the visit, she made a comment that I perceived as deeply offensive and inappropriate. It left me feeling shocked, disrespected, and extremely uncomfortable. No patient should ever feel unsafe or spoken to in a way that targets their identity. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this provider, and I hope the clinic takes concerns like this seriously.”

Unfortunately, my condition was initially misdiagnosed, and I later discovered the correct diagnosis after seeking a second opinion. I felt that my concerns were not fully addressed during the appointment, and I wish there had been more thorough testing or follow-up before reaching a conclusion. This experience was frustrating and caused some delay in receiving the right treatment. While every doctor can make mistakes, I hope this feedback encourages more careful consideration and communication with patients in the future.

Dr. Scantlebury was on duty at Inova Emergency Care Center, 4315 Chain Bridge Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030. Dr. Scantlebury saw me right away and quickly diagnosed, then resolved, the problem. She has a businesslike yet soothing presence which I found comforting under the circumstances and she seemed to know exactly what she was doing.

This doctor, as an ED physician, leaves far too much to the opinions of residents. She has issues with controlling patient pain or when they ask for a second opinion, both of which are specific components of the Patient R&R of her hospital. Further, her bedside manner is non-interested. I cannot give any type of "positive" information about this physician.

Dr. Scantlebury has terrible bedside manner, and little patience. She blatently lied to me about my test results, when she in fact, never performed the tests in question. I love PG Hospital. but I wish they could afford to hire better doctors. She needs more experience before attempting to save anyone's life.
