Summary
I have been working with clients addressing anxiety through my work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist for the past 20 years in a variety of settings and therapeutic roles, including as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor, Behavioral Health Case Manager, Crisis Counselor and Psychotherapist in private practice . Anxiety is one of the most common mental conditions. Symptoms of anxiety include trouble sleeping, excessive worrying, irritable or tense moods, heart palpitations and trouble concentrating to name a few and can be triggered by situational stressors, such as work-related stress, relationship issues/divorce/separation parenting, world events and so on. Anxiety can also be hereditary. Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, such as reframing, have been very effective in my experience with reducing anxiety symptoms and feeling better.
