Dr. Kristin Toney

Kristin has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and treats a wide range of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful assessment, open communication, and collaborative, evidence-based treatment planning. She believes that those who seek care for themselves and their loved ones are insightful and brave, and she is inspired by watching her patients recover and grow. She is particularly invested in women’s mental health and provides care across the reproductive lifespan, including pregnancy, postpartum transitions, and mood and anxiety symptoms related to hormonal changes, including PMDD and menopause. She also has experience working with LGBTQIA+ patients, including transgender and gender-diverse individuals. Her goal is to offer care that is respectful, informed, and individualized, creating a space where patients feel safe and supported. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys being outdoors whenever possible, spending time with …her husband, their two rescue dogs, and close friends and family. She is also passionate about history, philosophy, travel, and learning about other cultures. After spending most of her life in the mountains of Montana, she enjoys exploring all the diverse beauty of the California landscapes.
