I had an extremely disappointing and maddening experience with Dr. Kynan Metoyer during a recent telehealth appointment. From the moment the call started, he was rushed and uninterested in actually listening to me. When I tried opening up about my mental health struggles, he responded with dismissive comments like and made me feel judged instead of supported. Rather than asking thoughtful or open-ended questions to better understand what I’ve been dealing with, it felt like he had already made up his mind before the conversation even started. The entire appointment felt cold, rushed, and lacking compassion or professionalism. What upset me most was how invalidated and dismissed I felt. Reaching out for mental health support is already difficult, and no one should leave an appointment feeling worse than when they started. Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and safe during vulnerable conversations, and that was absolutely NOT my experience here. I would not recommend… this provider to anyone looking for compassionate mental health care. You’d be better off not going to therapy at all rather than dealing with this dude.

I had a c&p exam for the VA with Kynan Metoyer, license number PY9505. He was very rude, didn’t listen to me, he rushed everything to make his job easier, he was not professional, was angry and had a bad attitude with me for no reason.
