With over 25 years of experience, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Lisa Lanzano, MS, RDN, CIEC, focuses on helping her clients develop a healthy relationship with food, eating, and their bodies. She is the owner of Essential Nutrition, a group private practice, with locations in Boulder and Denver, Colorado, that offers telehealth visits as well as in person. Lisa specializes in helping individuals and families touched by an eating disorder and disordered eating to help them recover and live healthy, happy lives.
Lisa’s approach is down-to-earth, open and honest, and honors each client’s whole self. She teaches her clients how to navigate their own journey through nutrition and health despite the abundance of confusing and conflicting nutrition noise that abounds, and educates them on self-awareness and acceptance.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in nutrition and food management from Oregon State University. She then earned her Master of Science in gerontology (the …study of aging) with an emphasis in physiology and nutrition from the University of Arizona.
Upon graduating, she worked as a clinical nutritionist at Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort in Tucson, Arizona, for six years. She then moved to Colorado in 2003, accepting a position as the sole nutritionist at South Denver Cardiology Center in Littleton, Colorado. She also opened her private practice, Essential Nutrition, in Boulder. Since then, it has continued to grow and flourish with offices now in both Boulder and Denver.
