Lita thought about being a nurse ever since she was a child. Even with this strong draw toward nursing, she found herself pursuing a career as a teacher instead. While working as a teacher, she found herself needing something that would allow her to make a more concrete difference in the world. To make the world a better place. She decided to go back to school, get her nursing degree and become a nurse practitioner.In her spare time, Lita loves to knit, chase birds with her husband and spend time with her children and grandchildren.
