Maria Villanueva

As an EMDR and trauma informed therapist, Maira Villanueva is committed to walking alongside others as they discover true healing and joy. she works primarily with adolescents and adults facing a wide range of emotional issues that has them experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, fears and difficulties in their relationships. All of us have experienced suffering or relational difficulties that can feel difficult or confusing to address on our own. As your therapist, my role is to go along with you on your healing journey and provide the necessary therapeutic method to attain that healing. It is my hope that the awareness you gain in our time together will inform new ways of being that bring healing, wholeness, and greater happiness to your life. Also, I have been trained in Integrative Christian Counseling. For clients that wish to incorporate their spirituality into the therapeutic session, where Christian beliefs are honored and incorporated into the goals and techniques offered.
