Dr. Israel Wootton, MD

Dr. Wootton is a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and compassionate physician who is thorough in his approach to care. He stays up to date on the latest medical research and advancements, ensuring his patients receive informed and current treatment options. He takes the time to treat the whole patient rather than simply putting a bandage on problems. His kind and gentle bedside manner immediately put us at ease during a very frightening time in our lives. He gave us confidence that we were in capable hands, and we are incredibly grateful for the care, reassurance, and expertise he provided.

I have been treated by Dr. Wootton numerous times at Archbold. In all of the times he has treated me, he has always taken the time to get to know what issue(s) I was experiencing. After taking the time to listen to me, he discussed the options I had for getting to the root of the problem. Once he had pinpointed my issue, he took the time to discuss treatment options, as well as the pros and cons of each option. We thoroughly discussed everything and came up with the best option for me. When being treated by Dr. Wootton, you do not just feel like another patient or a number; you feel like a human being who is being listened to, not just heard. He comes across as a genuinely caring person who has chosen his career as a way to help people.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wooten. He is not only highly knowledgeable, but also kind, patient, and attentive. He never rushes appointments and always makes sure all questions are answered. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines expertise with such a caring approach.

Dr. Wootton is one of the best! He has a great reputation in the community and really cares about his patients. My friend lost his father in the ER due to a terrible car wreck, and Dr. Wootton was compassionate and so professional. It meant a lot to my friend. He did his residency at a Level I trauma center, and has a lot of experience with pediatric emergency care as well. Can't recommend highly enough!
