Dr. Jason D. Nosrati, MD

Jason Daniel Nosrati, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiation Oncology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Nosrati is an expert in the delivery of advanced radiation treatments, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). He cares deeply about his patients' needs and challenges. Passionate about equity in healthcare, he strives to provide the highest level of care to each patient while tailoring treatments to individual circumstances.After earning his Doctor of Medicine from Michigan State University in 2019, Dr. Nosrati completed his residency in radiation oncology at Northwell Health in 2024, where he was Chief Resident in his final year. He has received many honors and awards for both clinical care and research throughout his education and training from organizations, including the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Radiological Society of North America.Dr. …Nosrati has published over 50 abstracts and publications with a focus on genitourinary, gastrointestinal, brain and thoracic cancers. His most recent publication also looks into treatment disparities, why some patients are unable to complete cancer treatment and how to customize care based on individual needs. He has given numerous lectures and presentations across the country.Dr. Nosrati is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), among others. Since 2022, he has served as an Ambassador for the Canopy Pancreatic Cancer Consortium, and he is also a leader in assisting in clinical trials of brachytherapy with the Alpha Tau Group. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Nosrati is highly involved in the Jewish community of Long Island and Manhattan.
