Dr. Jorge David Alvarenga Montoya

I have been going to Dr Alvarenga since April, 2024 on four separate occasions for three medical issues. He is a very caring physician who listens attentively, thoroughly examines, and then makes his diagnosis and treatment plan. I strongly recommend him if he is still accepting patients.

I called the office on a Monday morning to see if the doctor was taking new patients and the receptionist said that he was and also two physician assistants were also taking patients. I left my name and telephone number along with my age and a brief description of a couple very minor issues and I was assured that I would receive a call back the next day. After hearing nothing for four days I called the office and another young lady answer the phone and I explained to her why I was calling and no one hab called me back. She looked for my name on a list apparently and said oh here it is and then it was a long pause and then she said I’m sorry, we’re not taking any new patients. And I said I was told four days ago that three providers were taking new patients and she said to me, I don’t know what to tell you all I can say is we are not taking new patients and she hung up. I imagine my age scared them but instead of taking on a new patient they decided to discriminate based on age.
