My experience with Dr. Mastrantoni was incredibly disappointing. At first, she was kind and reassuring during our visit, complimenting the care we were giving our child and making us feel like things were going well. However, shortly after, she reported us to CPS without giving us any indication that there were concerns during the appointment.This caused my family an overwhelming amount of emotional distress and confusion. We were left to navigate a traumatic situation without understanding why or how this happened. While I understand that mandated reporters have a legal duty, I feel the situation was handled poorly, and it felt like assumptions were made without full understanding.Please take this into consideration when choosing a provider. What happened to us may not happen to everyone, but it was deeply painful and I would not want another family to go through the same experience.
