Hi, my name is Cindi, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Nevada. I specialize in anxiety, depression. adhd, insomnia & sleep issues, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)/trauma. I’ve been in nursing for over 25 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Liberty University. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. My journey to becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner was shaped by my years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where I frequently cared for underserved and …geriatric populations. I witnessed firsthand the challenges many faced in accessing timely, quality psychiatric care, and that motivated me to expand my scope of practice. My goal is to provide compassionate, accessible mental health support that empowers clients on their path to wellness.

My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process, I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
