Terrible service. I've been a patient at the primary care Atrium for 30 years (since before it was Atrium). All my details are in my chart. I go to urgent care for diverticulitis, which was diagnosed 17 years ago through colonoscopy, which should be on my chart. I came in after 3 days pain requesting ANTIBIOTIC to make sure no infection and she repeatedly said "I cannot diagnose that here" and I said I'm not looking for a diagnosis... I'm looking for treatment... look at my chart. She refused to look at my chart!!!! Told me to go the ER. I don't have the money for that! It's on my chart! No diagnosis needed! But if she knew how to be a doctor she would have felt my belly, saw how distended it is, and when pressing the lower left would have seen the pain I'm in and KNOWN that's diverticulitis!!! It's the worst outbreak I've had in 30 years and I'm going on a trip and want to be sure no bacteria (which could lead to sepsis) and she refused! I'm calling my GP tomorrow, who is under… Atrium as well, and getting an appointment for antibiotics. Horrible service. Didn't even TRY. I was so mad when I was walking out i said "if I become septic, that's on you" and she said "no that's on YOU." And I said "you should try to be a better person." What a JERK of a doctor. I'd rather die than see her again.
