Dr. Ball's explanations are clear and concise. I leave the appointment understanding the treatment plan and WHY I should modify my eating habits, exercise routine to achieve better outcomes. I wish more doctors were like him.

I am a new patient at Froedtrert and Dr. Bal was up to date with my medical records. He explained my treatment plan thoroughly and told me things about my kidneys no other nephrologist had ever done.

I am retired from 50 years working in the health care systems in 5 states. I have worked with physicians and managed them in the field of Emergency Medicine. Now at age 83, I feel I am a pretty good judge of care givers. Dr. Bal is TOP NOTCH from the first appt. With him and with this 2nd follow up appt. He is an excellent educator about my condition. He is determined to determine the cause of my condition. The word physician means teacher. He excels in it along with his genuine care and concern of my aging health status.
