Life as a young person (or their family member) can be difficult and overwhelming. Planning your future; navigating relationships; school stress; intense emotions; feelings of vulnerability; getting along with parents and family members; social media; bullying; peer pressure; traumatic life experiences. The list could go on and on. These things leave young people feeling anxious, overwhelmed, lost and depressed. Therapy can be a means to lasting wellness and growth during this impressionable time of life, allowing young people to explore their identity, develop coping strategies, heal trauma, learn to communicate, and so much more.

Young people deserve to experience joy and curiosity in this transitional time of life. My name is Niki, and I work with young people and their families to support the growth that leads to confidence, self-discovery, healing and improved relationships. I graduated from Adam’s State University in 2019 with a Master’s Degree in Counseling. I have worked with …young people ages 5-20 years old for over 13 years, with the past five years focused on providing mental health therapy in both school settings, as well as in private practice. As an LPC, I use a collaborative, client-centered approach to create a space where young people feel heard and valued.
