Angelica Lentner, NP

Angelica Lentner is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with the CMG Structural Heart care team. She is dedicated to providing expert, compassionate cardiovascular care.

Prior to becoming a nurse, Angelica received a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona and worked as a teaching assistant in special education for Tucson Unified School District. She returned to school in 2010 to pursue her passion for healthcare. She received her BSN from the University of Arizona in 2011 and worked as a nurse at Banner University Medical Center while attending graduate school. In 2016, Angelica received her MSN and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification from Grand Canyon University, and joined the Advanced Heart Disease team at BUMCT that November.

While with the Advance Heart Disease team Ms. Lentner held a leadership role within the heart disease nurse practitioner clinic, managed heart failure consultative services, as well as supported the …inpatient team. She was also responsible for the primary management of CardioMEMS patients, including commercial implants, post-approval study, and the GUIDE-HF clinical trial.

As an early career professional, she was selected for the Heart Failure Society’s “Future Leaders in Heart Failure Symposium” and is an active member of the HFSA. In her free time, she enjoys baking, and outdoor activities with her friends and family.
