Ashley at first was my PA & I saw her when my dr wasn't available. She had noticed my past bloodwork & saw many had been flagged in a few years & it was consistent. I had always been told that my bloodwork was fine by my regular doctor. She sent me to a hematologist & he thought I might have polycythemia! I saw him for about 7 months & had several infusions. He also was obviously concerned about my bloodwork. After these months he determined I didn't have it, but didn't know what was going on. He wanted me to continue to have yearly full panel bloodwork done. I've switched over to Ashley to be my primary provider. She basically could have saved my life if I had polycythemia & didn't know it. She takes her time with me, explains everything, is very polite & is truly one of the best doctors I've ever had! (I'll be 71 next week so I've been through a lot of doctors that have come & gone). I read that lots of people/seniors are going to PAs & NPs more because they seem to spend… more time with their patients & I believe this to be true. Ashley is to be commended!
