Summary
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I developed the passion of caring at a very young age after assisting to care for my great-grandmother who had a stroke. My ultimate goal was to become a nurse in the future. As I grew in my career as a bedside nurse, I developed a deeper interest helping and serving my patients. Furthering my education as an advanced practice nurse, I will have the opportunity to utilize my skills, knowledge and expertise to do more for my patients.What I want my patients to know about me:I am a very compassionate person and a good listener. I take pride in what I do. I will do my best to make sure my patients receive the care that they deserve.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I spend quality time with my family and friends when not working. Exercise is part of my early morning routines. I also love gardening and cooking different African dishes.
