Holly Jacobson, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Hello! I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I provide psychiatric care through medication management in combination with therapy.

My practice encompasses patients across the lifespan from 13 years old, adults, and seniors in their 90's. My specialties include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, attention hyperactivity deficit disorder, autism related behavioral problems, insomnia, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, psychotic disorders, and substance abuse disorders.

My treatment process is a two-way collaboration based on empathy and judgment-free care. I want to create a tailored mental health wellness plan just for you. I strive to make a difference in my patients’ lives by teaching self-care techniques, mindfulness, and imparting hope.

I am passionate about advancing the importance of self-care and removing the stigma around mental healthcare. In addition to …providing medication management, I utilize cognitive behavioral and motivational interviewing techniques using a strength based, solution focused approach.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles, my Master of Science from Maryville University in St Louis, Missouri, and my Doctor of Nursing Practice from beautiful Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My career spans over twenty-seven years working in emergency medicine, intensive care, pain management, gastroenterology, and psychiatry.

In my free time I hike, strength train, garden, read books, listen to music and of course spend time with family.
