Hi, my name is Jessica, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Ohio. I specialize in depression, anxiety, ADHD, stress management, burnout, LGBTQIA+, gender, and sexuality topics, relationship issues, sleep disorders, insomnia & sleep issues, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bipolar disorder. I’ve been in nursing for over 15 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at University of Toledo. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a psych NP to become a Psych NP because I …thought I could better help my clients if I was able to work with them more on medication management and treatment planning on a more long-term basis.

My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process. I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
