Krisann Woodley, FNP-C

Krisann chose her role of nurse practitioner as a way to practice medicine within the context of a nursing philosophy grounded in holistic care. She enjoys the problem-solving nature of medicine as well as the ability to be a lifelong learner.Krisann says that she is excited to come to work each because of the amazing team she has the privilege to work with and consistently learn from. She has a special interest in thyroid and parathyroid disease.Her biggest influence in life and her constant role model has always been her mother. Her mother always put education at the forefront. Krisann recalls her mom navigating life as a single mother with such grace and kindness for everyone around her.In her free time, Krisann volunteers at her local church in children’s ministries. She enjoys being active and outdoors, especially when she’s experiencing the beautiful lakes in Michigan. She also likes spending time with family, friends and animals.My approach to medicine is grounded …in a patient centered philosophy that values individual needs, experiences and goals. I believe in a team-based model of care with an emphasis on communication. I enjoy patient education and caring for patients from diagnosis through post operative follow up care especially as it relates to patient goals.
