Mary Kathleen Martinez

I've worked with Kathleen for the better part of 5 years. I've been in treatment for over 16 years and was caught up in the system, seeing more providers than I care to remember. Out of these, I can honestly say Kathleen has been one of the best and crucial to my progress. She is very person-centered oriented, compassionate but also professional. If you want something different than the "avoid transference at all costs, cookie-cutter status quo treatment in which a lot of western, allopathic psychiatry embraces," she is a wonderful alternative hence her practice name, "Something Different Mental Health."

She is extremely knowledgeable about mental health issues and medications, and is very compassionate. I have lived in many parts of the US so have had many different practitioners, and she is by far the best.
