In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Dr. Brown also has an outstanding academic background that includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kansas Neuman College in Wichita, Kansas, a Master of Science in Adult Health Nursing Practice, a Masters in Nursing Education and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York and a Post Masters Certification in Psychiatric Mental Illness Across the Life Span. She also holds a Doctorate degree in Health Care Education from the doctoral program at A T Still University in Kirksville, Missouri.
Dr. Brown has taught nursing education in the traditional classroom as well as the online settings. She also has held academic and executive clinical leadership roles. Dr. Brown opened the first campus, and graduated the first class of nursing students of Chamberlain College of Nursing in Georgia, where every graduate passed their licensure board exam on their first attempt. Throughout her career, Dr. Brown has been a strong advocate for those that are included within vulnerable populations.
