Yikes. I had a telehealth visit with her in Jan 2025. I recommend patients stay away from this unstable and unethical "medical professional." I'll just say that after chastising me for not "prioritizing my health" and immediately dealing with what she called my "URGENT" situation in the way she wanted (and at the healthcare institution she favored), she did a total 180, changed her assessment and my recommended plan of care, and suddenly decided "it would be best" that I wait 3 months (!) to get the ultrasound (which I got this morning at a different healthcare facility, whose doctor, btw, was shocked at what NP Fortuna had recommended and said in her final assessment). NP Fortuna ended up writing a blatantly FALSE description of our interaction in my medical notes, trying to justify her medically inappropriate judgments and potentially dangerous actions. Her ironic failure to "prioritize my health" (after accusing me of that) was the result of her effort to benefit her professional… affiliations and (mostly) her personal reputation. Did I mention she's highly emotional? When presented with the slightest challenge, she took personal offense and went off on a medically irrelevant and unprofessional tirade. What a hot mess. Unfortunately, other people's health is at stake.
