Summary
I have been a nurse since 2016 and a nurse practitioner since 2022. I began my medical career in the Army National Guard in 2012. During this time, I decided to become a registered nurse and expand my knowledge further. After working as a nurse for a few years, I felt that I would be able to make a more impactful experience for my patients as a nurse practitioner. I have medical experience in emergency medicine, ventilator care/management, medical/surgical patient care and in long term care facilities. I have volunteered on mission trips in Jamaica and Guatemala. I have been married since 2017. My husband and I have 3 children and 2 dogs. We enjoy going boating, fishing and for walks by the lake.I practice medicine by focusing on holistic care of the patient. I believe that listening to the patient and learning their healthcare story is an important aspect of patient care. I focus on creating a plan of care with my patient, in order to assist in providing a plan that is manageable and …attainable for the patient at home. My goal is assisting the patient to reach the best possible outcome. I believe that listening is the most important attribute a medical provider can have when providing patient care.
