My name is Roberto Pohlenz-McBeath, I was born in Mexico City and came to the US when I was 22 y/o. I did my Nursing Bachelor degree in Puerto Rico and currently I'm an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in the ER setting for a hospital in Long Island NY, with a high load of psychiatric emergencies.
During the last 4 years I have been able to focus specifically on mental health and I have been honored with helping many patients to navigate their various psychiatric conditions, ranging from anxiety and depression to ADHD.
Currently I consider my job, to provide personalized care to patients with psychiatric difficulties, including, initial assessment, diagnosis, the development of a comprehensive treatment plan, explaining medication options, and setting realistic expectations within my patients mental health journey.
