Hi, my name is Sheila, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Texas. I specialize in anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, life coaching, stress management, life transitions, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), sleep disorders, and PTSD/trauma. I’ve been in nursing for over 10 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Walden University. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a psych NP because I cannot imagine doing anything else in my life except for helping those who are finding their way and their voice.
