Theresa Lynn Moore, PMHNP

Theresa Moore, PMHNP-BC, is a board‑certified Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina–Wilmington and completed both her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Vanderbilt University. She has provided care across the lifespan in a variety of clinical settings, including work as a travel nurse practitioner, and is experienced in managing complex medical and behavioral health needs for adults, and geriatric patients while also enjoying work with children and their families.

Theresa has extensive experience delivering care via telehealth and values its capacity to expand access to mental health services. Her clinical focus encompasses a broad range of conditions including depression, anxiety and panic disorders, ADHD, substance use disorders, PTSD, bipolar and other mood disorders, personality disorders, psychosis, behavioral disturbances, grief, and phase‑of‑life transitions.

Theresa integrates mindfulness, distress‑tolerance skills, and cognitive strategies alongside evidence‑based treatments to help patients navigate challenges. Outside of work she enjoys reading, traveling, and hiking, and she is active in promoting mental health awareness through volunteer work with suicide‑prevention organizations.
