Dr. Oscar Jesus Peguero

I have never written a review for a medical professional before, but I had to here. I am terrified of all things dentistry because of a very traumatic experience with a dentist as a child. Because of that, I typically wait too long to see one and have never found a dentist I liked enough to see regularly. As a result, I apparently let a cavity on my tooth go too long, which resulted in part of my tooth breaking off while on vacation. As soon as I got back to Miami, Dr. Peguero's staff fit me in for an appointment. His staff were pleasant, and on appointment day, made my visit easy, stress-free, and quick! After x-rays, Dr. Peguero informed me that I needed my worst fear-- a root canal. Nonetheless, Dr. Peguero's demeanor was fantastic and very calming. He put me on medicine to help with the pain and I scheduled an appointment for two-days later for the procedure. Dr. Peguero and his staff were so compassionate, calming, and professional. He spent extra time with me and did not start… until I felt comfortable. He did an excellent job and even followed up with me over the weekend to make sure I was feeling better. More importantly, the procedure was 100% PAIN FREE! I was SHOCKED! I did not feel a single thing and felt as relaxed as possible throughout the procedure. I cannot recommend Dr. Peguero and his staff enough. His office is state-of-the-art, clean, and welcoming. He is on-time and professional. He was very honest, and even recommended a solution for my tooth that would help avoid more expensive procedures like a crown, etc. This was the best dental experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Peguero, especially for those who have a fear of dentistry/root canals. Thank you SO much Dr. Peguero.

IMO best endodontist in town! I am so glad I drove 15 miles through crazy Kendall traffic to go see Dr. Peguero for my root canal! I was scared and nervous but after talking with Dr. Peguero I felt so much better because he explained everything so clearly with knowledge and confidence! The ladies at the front desk and his assistant were also very nice. I even enjoyed a couple of laughs with them. And that's not all… the office is on the Penthouse floor of the building with a spectacular view of Kendall right from your seat! If you need to see an endodontist, go see Dr. Peguero you can thank me later :)
