Charlotte Toms is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She works with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and ADHD. Charlotte received her doctorate at the University of Florida and also received bachelors degrees in both psychology and nursing. Her robust educational foundation has been crucial in her patients’ success and progress. She performed her internship at the VA working with veterans battling with substance misuse. Charlotte has extensive experience treating young adult and adult clients suffering from mood disorders and the aftermath of trauma using an integrative treatment approach that pulls from cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, existential, and dialectical behavior therapies coupled with medication management where appropriate.
