Pamela D. Pardon is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than 40 years of nursing experience across diverse healthcare settings. She is the founder and owner of Pearls of Wisdom Psychiatric Services, LLC, a private practice in Lorain, Ohio, established in 2019, where she provides evidence-based medication management to adults ages 18 through 100. Pamela’s practice is trauma-centered and collaborative, emphasizing an understanding of adverse early-life experiences and how they shape emotional and mental patterns that affect daily functioning, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.

A devoted partner in care, Pamela works in a supportive, confidential, and respectful setting and is deeply committed to mental health education. She believes that patients who are informed about their life history, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment options are better equipped to achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes. Pamela collaborates …closely with individuals experiencing mood disorders, PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, women’s health concerns, and stress-related issues, helping them to understand their mental health needs and to take an active role in their healing journey.

Pamela’s clinical foundation began as an LPN and expanded through roles in Cardiac Step-Down, Pediatrics/NICU, Medical-Surgical nursing, Home Health, dental surgery assistance, and nurse’s aide instruction. Her mental and behavioral health experience includes psychiatric emergency services, inpatient and emergency behavioral health, crisis hotline support, and community outreach. This broad background gives her a holistic perspective, allowing her to integrate medical and psychological care through comprehensive assessment and empathetic, individualized treatment.
