Dr. Travis Whiteside is a Asheville, North Carolina Native. He graduated from East Carolina University earning a degree in health fitness. After working for a chiropractor in his home town, he found himself passionate about educating the community on obtaining a healthier lifestyle through Chiropractic care.
Originally, he wanted to work with athletes but found himself more and more interested in the general population during his chiropractic education. Dr. Travis went on to graduate from Logan University (Logan College of Chiropractic) in August of 2019. During his time there, he was actively involved in the student government, mentor program, and student American Black Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Travis feels that the best way to change his community is to serve and be involved. With this in mind, he served on two mission trips to El Salvador to bring chiropractic care to less fortunate areas. These experiences along with membership in multiple campus clubs, shaped his whole body and individual approach to healthcare.
Dr. Travis studied multiple techniques and obtained several certifications in order to best service his patients, including Gonstead technique, Logan Basic technique, Activator technique, FAKTR technique (& Instrumented Assisted Soft Tissue), Dynamic Taping, K-laser certification, Lumbar McKenzie certification, Dry Needling, and the successful completion of active release technique (ART) spinal program as of September 2018.
Dr. Travis’ mission is to touch as many lives as possible with Chiropractic care. He strongly believes that the power that makes the body can heal the body.
