VALERIE ANN SCHISSLER

I am a board certified nurse practitioner and have been caring for women in the Valley for over 18 years. I absolutely love getting to know my patients so that I can help them live their best life, both physically and emotionally.
As a nurse practitioner, I get to make a difference in the lives of my patients and empower women of all ages to take care of themselves. I offer my patients a variety of treatment options for a multitude of conditions for women in every stage of life. One of my favorite aspects of being a nurse practitioner is educating women. Whether it’s a teen with questions about her body and birthcontrol, women in their 40s and 50s navigating the many changes of perimenopause and menopause or an older woman with questions about incontinence and prolapse, I love spending time listening and giving women the tools they need for better health and wellness. It’s a privilege.
Outside of work, my family’s happy place is Myrtle Beach. And although we’d …love to see the beach every day, my husband and I are usually on a lacrosse field watching our son play or on a volleyball court with our daughter. It’s a busy time and we love it because we know we’ll miss it when it’s gone.
