Dr. Ann Catherine Casey, MD

Dr Casey, ruined my life! First I want to apologize to any patient that has experienced medical misconduct behavior from her and her staff, anytime after February 7th 2022, if my delayed review experience would have avoided you making the same regretful choice. She obstructed my bowel, I was vomiting and so sick, I had to transported by ambulance for an second emergency surgery within one week to repair it, she also damaged my lymph node causing permanent lymphedema in my left leg, ankle and foot. She left 75 cc’s of what looked like old blood when it was removed from lymphocele damage. At my postoperative office appointment a female walked into the exam room where I was waiting and introduced herself as Dr Casey’s Assistant and said to me with a rejection and discussed look and quoted: “Dr Casey and I discussed your situation and we concluded that you are just Bad Luck and we are done with you here”. “I can refer you to an Urologist if want me to” My Dr that referred me to Dr Casey is… an Urologist but she didn’t mention him, my prognosis or my pathology report from the hysterectomy, or my current condition was not discussed. She didn’t even ask me how I was doing since the second surgery let alone the hysterectomy. She showed No compassion, accountability or concern for my well being. I was so traumatized that all I could do was get up and walk out stumbling because I couldn’t see clearly because of the tears! I was in a state of shock and disbelief! I didn’t get the proper postoperative report explained to me until November 2022 when I seen a different gynecology/oncology doctor. My career that I loved with passion is over. I can no longer stand or sit without pain and swelling. Dr Casey promised that I was making the right decision and the surgery wouldn’t change anything for the worse when I asked her about menopause but she failed terribly in her promise because not only am I worse but it’s permanent damage and she could careless. She is evil and shouldn’t be allowed to continue with her medical misconduct behavior. I am not the only patient that has experienced no compassion or no accountability from her. Someone needs to do something to address her and her staff for not upholding the medical oath that includes compassion.

She left the cancer in me and lied to me never apologized to me when I confronted her with my medical record. That’s all I wanted was an apology never got it and she refused to see me. I was told I could her nurse only. Never an apology for her medical mistake that will take my life.

My overall experience with Dr. Casey was very positive. She walked me through my cancer diagnosis and treatment in a very detailed, professional, yet easy to understand way. I would recommend her to any family member or friend who was going through what I did.
