Dr. Aaron Urban Adamson, MD

Call a month or two ahead if you want an estimate on any procedure done. I called a week ahead for a wisdom tooth, gave them x-rays from a general dentist and Endo. They took my information on Monday the 24th, and scheduled me for Monday the 2nd at 9:30 a.m. They called to confirm my appointment on Wednesday, but said the X-rays provided didn't give a good look, but that they would still have an estimate on the day of my appointment. I called them at 8:15 a.m. on the day of my appointment. No estimate. Apparently the ID they had for my insurance was off by a number and it took me calling them an hour before my appointment for them to figure that out. So I gave them the correct number and asked for a high end estimate. I called them back twice in between 8:15 a.m. and 9:10 a.m., telling them I had a 45 minute drive to get to their office every time. I finally got an estimate at 9:15 a.m. for my 9:30 a.m. appointment. So I asked them how they wanted to handle my appointment… time, and they placed me on hold to try to reschedule or find an opening. While on hold "The doctor took a look at your X-Ray and it will be" the most expensive estimate possible. Even though they had a whole week to look at the x-rays that they said couldn't tell anything prior. I initially made this appointment explaining that I was trying to get this tooth pulled before a vacation. I canceled upon hearing that they suddenly, over a 5 minute hold time, were going to charge me the most expensive procedure they could after playing dumb for an entire week. Unbelievable.

I enjoyed going to Mountainside Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for my Wisdom Teeth Surgery. The staff is very friendly and professional! I am definitely going to recommend this office to my family members who need oral surgery assistances. I am genuinely content with the work that they’ve done.

Spring, 2018: This "Adamson" man "Knew" I had a tumor (cyst) in my jaw that needed removal. He saw the xrays. He had me in his dental chair...However, ( I did not know this at the time) apparently; My insurance did not pay him as much as other insurances, so he "made up a story," and told me an ENT had to remove it. He sent me on an 8-month "goose chase..." that ultimately resulted in the tumor growing 3.5 times, into my jaw bone...and will probably cost me the removal of another tooth and cost of about $6000.00 more dollars to replace the teeth, and God knows what else. The ENT told me he was outraged, that this "Adamson" knew full well only an oral surgeon could do the surgery I required, and that he did not appreciate being played for a fool either...SO 8 months later I went back to Adamson' office only to be told "how much he cares for his patients." ARE you serious??? The dr. did not have the guts to speak to me himself. In my opinion, he does not deserve to be in the position he… is; obviously) I have a prosthetic joint, so if this infection that hs now been there for 8months...were to move in my body (move to that joint,) I'd easily be in the hospital and in a wheelchair for months. He is dishonest, greedy, and has never apologized.. RUN THE OTHER WAY.

I have been to several dentists and always had severe pain when they were finished but not with doctor Aaron Adamson he removed 20 teeth and had to shave off part of the extra bone on the roof of my mouth, I expected to be in severe pain but I was not, I couldn’t believe that I was not in pain. Thank you doctor Aaron Adamson you are amazing!!!...

My 2 year old had a horrible lip tie, and Dr. Adamson used local anesthetic and was able to fix his lip tie. My 2 year old is very difficult and very busy and he patiently worked around my child's chaotic personality. When returning to our dentist he asked who had performed the lip tie fix, because he was impressed, and always looking for a great oral surgeon to refer patients to in the future. I would recommend him to everyone. He is amazing.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Adamson and his staff! I had 2 teeth extracted, bone grafts, and several months later 2 implants put in. I appreciated his experience and skills as well as the friendliness of his staff. It was a delight to have him as my doctor during that process. I would highly recommend him!!!!
