Dr Aaron George Amacher III

Was not prepared for this appointment. Just needed to see Dr. about not only cataracts but also another eye disease that I have. But this appointment was for setting up appointments for surgery. Doctor doesn't even know my history. Not very happy.

Dr. Amacher is a very warm, courteous, professional. He is extremely thorough in exams and patient education. I have had excellent results from the cataract and lens implant surgery. No problems following surgery.

I'd refer anyone needing eye surgery to go to Dr. Amacher. It's been over a month since my surgeries and I'm doing great. My eye sight has improved with minimal discomfort. Thanks Dr. Amacher!

When I learned that I needed cataract surgery I was apprehensive. But when I arrived at the Kleiman Evangelista Clinic on Matlock Road my fears were eased. Dr. Amacher was very friendly and professional. Every person I encountered along the way did a thorough job of explaining the vision tests I was given and the procedure for cataract surgery. My vision improved as soon as the surgery was complete. It was like seeing the world in 1080P High Definition when I left the office......the world was new again. Every level of professionalism and expectation you could have in a doctor you'll find with Dr. Amacher and his staff. I am very happy with the experience and the results.

The most memorable about my experience was Dr. Amacher's patience, kindness and smile. When I had reservations about the surgery, he took the time to answer all of my questions, and provide information that allowed me to make the best decision for myself. I do not have any dislikes. I would definitely recommend family and friends to contact him for any eye related issues. I most definitely would choose him again for my eye related needs. He is warm, easy to talk to, knowledgeable; the kind of doctor you want when you are dealing with such a sensitive / delicate area as the eyes. If this rating had five stars, I would give him five.

I was a couple of days away from leaving on my 50th birthday cruise with friends and family that I had saved for and looked forward to for over a year. I had developed a stye in my right eye that I had tried to get rid of for two weeks, and it was only growing larger, and the pain was really becoming annoying. I have very poor vision and normally wear contacts. I have a hard time seeing with my glasses, and of course I had to wear my glasses with no make-up while I had this issue. I had gone to CareNow, and they had told me that my stye would need to be lanced by an eye doctor. It was Wednesday, and I was leaving Saturday. I couldn't take another day of vacation, so I made the latest appointment they had that day. When I got to the exam room, and they took a look, they told me that it was already 4:30, and they didn't know if my insurance would cover it, or if they doctor would do it since it was so late, but she would check with my insurance while the doctor finished with his other… patient. I waited anxiously, as I wanted so bad to be able to wear my contacts and make-up on my cruise. It was nearing 5:00 when the nurse came in, and said, "The doctor has agreed to stay and do your surgery." I just wanted to jump up and hug him. He, and his staff stayed, and lanced the stye out of my eye, gave me my prescription, and wished me a happy early birthday, and to enjoy my vacation. Thanks to Dr. Amacher, I am going to be able to leave Saturday, and by Sunday have on my contacts, and make-up, and actually enjoy my vacation. He didn't have to stay, but he did. He was kind, gentle, and explained what he was doing as he went along. I felt at ease with him, and his staff. I would recommend this doctor for the rest of my life. His caring, empathy, and kindness will never be forgotten. I have found a doctor that actually cares about me, and I will never want to see another doctor again. If you are looking for a doctor that listens, cares, and is kind with a great bedside manner, call and make an appointment with Dr. Amacher.....You won't be disappointed.
