Dr. Aaron Snelson Bean, MD

Dr. Bean is an excellent doctor who took more time than any doctor has ever taken with me during my first appointment and was very patient and listened to my concerns. He took an x-ray and pointed out & explained everything that went wrong with my bunion and toe surgery from another doctor. He explained everything in detail including how he could repair the damage and restore my toes. I have never been more impressed with a doctor. He’s professional yet very easy to talk with and he has compassion which means a lot. He also previously operated on a friend of mine and did a perfect job on her hammertoes years ago. I’m scheduled to have surgery next month and I have the utmost confidence in Dr Bean.

He saw my 96 yo father with diabetes for a possible toe infection the day I called for an appointment. He made us feel good about calling for the “emergency “ and provided excellent care.

I am about 3 weeks post surgery for a total ankle replacement. I am so glad I didn't read the other review on this site until now because I would have been terrified for no reason. I was told I am too young to get a total ankle replacement but Dr. Bean agreed that I needed a quality of life that I was not going to be allowed without the replacement. After researching the surgery and everything involved (I did look up Dr Bean and he had great reviews on other sites) I agreed to have him do the surgery. I am very hopeful that I will be able to lead a normal life within the year, (total recovery time is about a year). My ankle is already healing very well and I can see that it is straightened and the pain is subsiding daily, as expected. Everything he told me would happen is. He is very friendly and caring. I feel confident voicing my concerns and asking questions and I feel that he is very forthcoming with answers. I am quite pleased with him and his team.
