Dr. Aaron J Bellew, MD

Terrible. Diagnosed off a google picture. Had labs done with a different doctor showing he was %100 wrong. Aggressive with treatment and arrogant. Terrible bedside manner.

Very clever, friendly, and respectful. I was so satisfied, and my foot now is excellent.

Dr Bellew is an excellent doctor and surgeon. My husband and I are both patients of him. For both of us he has been very helpful. He answers all our questions and explains all the procedures throughly. I would highly recommend Dr Bellew

I don’t think I ever met a guy who seemed to hate his job as much as dr Bellew, he doesn’t say hi or introduce himself, and he just seems really disinterested in helping and wants to finish the appointment. Not too surprised to see other people feel the same, and to top it off, if I ask him any questions he gets annoyed. I ended getting an MRI because he asked me for one, and I ended up going to another doctor to see if I get another answer cause dr Bellew told me I would need surgery from looking at my results. And to my surprise, that 2nd doctor did give me a different answer and I did not need surgery after all. Dr Bellew may by cheap but no one deserves a doctor who isn’t interested in helping you and having you waste money.

I do not recommend Dr. Bellew. The quality of time spent with his patients is just lacking; to the point where it's unpleasant. The visits are unnecessarily rushed. His body language indicates he does not want to be here, making little to no eye contact and looking around the room; it's very clear this man wants the visit to be over with. There is no genuity, it really feels like he doesn't care about you, as the patient. He was already on his way out of the door, I had to quickly spout my question in order to obtain the information I was looking for. The office personal are polite and eager to help, however Dr. Bellew is not --- there is zero interest or investment in building a relationship with his patients, the questions he asks and the answers he gives are just the bare minimum, there is little to no further explanation when he is giving his diagnosis. In order to know more information, it's almost as if you have to pry it out of Dr. Bellew. His answers are short and curt with no… further details. Overall an extremely unsatisfactory and disappointing experience during the visits with Dr. Bellew.

This guy will not listen to what you have to say. When you try to describe your pain and symptoms, Dr. Bellew very clearly has other things on his mind- he looks around the room impatiently so as to say "Ok, got it, shut up now." He is very brief in the examination room, to the point where he just walks out at some point. No goodbye. Just walks out. Then the nice woman from reception comes and sweeps you up and kicks you out. I appear to be a rather complicated case, but since I am not a candidate for surgery (yet) this doctor has no time for me. It is extremely unlikely that I will return to this doctor even though I am still in a tremendous amount of pain. There are others who are not not so arrogant. This dude even laughed at me and my attempts to cope with my pain. That's just what you need while managing chronic pain, isn't it?! That all said, this guy seems very smart and is probably an excellent surgeon.

Actually saw him in Plainfield office. First off, the office staff are rude, arrogant, and the deplorable, The way they speak to, and treat patients would make your head spin.(phone ethics even worse) Doctor not helpful at all. Not sure if he knows how to read an MRI (new podiatrist read film, and diagnosed me way different) Office filthy. Afraid to sit on anything in the office or rooms. Smells bad too.
