Dr. Aaron Best, DO

DR best is a wonderful doctor. He spends as much time with you as you need, entertains any questions you have, and never rushes you. He will fund a solution to any problems you may have, or refer to someone who can. He is so helpful. My husband and I both love him.

I saw Dr Aaron Best today, hoping he would accept me as a new patient, but he refused me after reading a summary report from my prior doctor which was false and not true. After waiting for a whole month to see Dr Aaron Best, I felt disappointed and upset that he didn't believe what I told him..which was the truth and how bad the other doctor was to me. In my opinion, Dr Aaron is not what I hoped he would be. He wouldn't take me as a new patient even though I told him the truth. I wouldn't recommend him at all!

About 20 years ago i went through several different doctors who i felt were very arrogant and dismissive. Eventually i went to see Dr. Best and since then he is the only Dr. i will call my primary physician. He is very courteous and professional. He always spends the time necessary to hear my questions or concerns and he actually listens. That may seem like an obvious thing that doctors should do but in my experience with past Doctors i was surprised how many times i felt like i was wasting their time for having to listen to me for 2 minutes. Dr Best has always made me feel like he actually cares and he always follows up with my care even if that means calling me at home. When i read some of the bad comments people have left about him i really feel like they are talking about a different Doctor than the one i have known for years.

My Dr retired, I was asked who I wanted to see and I chose Dr Best since any interactions I had in the past were pleasant.  On my first visit to this Dr as my new primary he mentioned a derogatory comment and observation by the NURSE of my previous Dr. Since It was obvious this could affect my future care I made an appt for the future and chose with the office a time I could bring my wife.  I wanted to address the accusation and brought my wife to share observations as to my pain affecting and restricting activities in my daily life.  We entered the office and reminded them my wife was there to accompany me. They took her temperature and we were told to wait for Dr. After a very reasonable wait, I was brought back for vitals and asked to have my wife accompany. I was told that is up to the PROVIDER . After vitals were taken I again asked to get my wife, I was told that is up to the PROVIDER. While I was in the room waiting for Dr  I got a text from my wife and she had been told she… must leave the office and wait outside by the NURSE. When I questioned this I was told no one accompanying patient is office policy. Funny it hadn't been a definitive policy minutes before. When Dr entered the room he asked how I am doing, I stated not good I wanted my wife in room with me and she was told his NURSE had told her she had to leave the office. He immediately developed a bad attitude with me. I tried to explain to him all our disagreements seem to be stemming from his NURSE. He remained confrontational and he eventually stated that maybe I should leave the practice.     Dr Best had been a decent DR. He was very much like my previous primary. All the problems seen to be coming from input he receives from his NURSE! A Dr is only as good as his support staff and I am afraid in the future this Dr will fall far short of his previous reputation  Thanks to this office in spite of multiple herniations, 3 separate spinal nerve irreparable damages and extreme pain, They have cut off ALL of my pain meds except 1 600MG motrin per day. Dr showed no concern as to my pain, which was already keeping me from even a night's sleep. He offered no alternative to my pain meds, he had all the records of the ones I had tried in the past.   I was already in unbearable pain. I am fearful of what my future will be now. My advice, stay away as this practice has really gone down hill.

I have been going to Dr. Best for years he is the most compassionate caring doctor you will ever meet in your life. I truly believe he cares and listens to people. I would recommend this doctor to anyone he’s excellent

Dr. Best took the time to listen to me and my personal case history. He ordered the labs I needed for ruling out a rare genetic disease, which other doctors might shy away from. You can tell by the way he interacts with patients that he really loves what he does and cares about his patients. I will certainly recommend him to family and friends.

I always feel confident that Dr. Best is listening to my concerns and I never feel rushed!

Dr. Best was exceptional in his diagnosis of my condition. He worked with me to isolate my symptoms, then clearly explained my options. My visit left me feeling very confident that my condition was treatable and that Dr. Best had provided all my alternatives. Dr. Best also followed up with me about a week later to ask how I was doing. I found his bedside manner to very professional and would highly recommend him as a doctor.
