Dr. B performed extractions and, performed gum & bone grafts & did a perfect sinus lift for me, all performed WHILE HE WAS STILL A RESIDENT AT NOVA DENTAL University. I am one of those people that should have gone to dental school JUST SO I COULD WORK ON MY OWN TEETH! The cost of dental school would have been less than all of the money I have spent on my teeth over the years. I have implants in place of all my back teeth and now the front teeth are going bad and couple have broken. I got really lucky many years ago when I had to have my first implant. It was in Atlanta, by a then new Emory dental school graduate, now well established and voted best dentist in Atlanta several times. Dr. David Kurtzman. His work was beautiful and it was obvious that he really knew how to get the implant to do what he intended...look real and last a long time (24+ yrs) Dr. Kurtzman set the standard I look for in my dentist. To my dismay, after I moved to FL, I realized I was not going… to find my another Dr. Kurtzman down here. I spent so many $10,000s of dollars for the next 20 years on bad dental work that I began to let bad teeth get so bad that only in desperation would I go to a dentist. The work of all 5 previous DDSs was very disappointing AND expensive. Which is why I decided to seek out acceptance as a Nova Dental Resident patient "guinna pig". Figured the work there had to be at least as good as to what I was getting from "professional" dental offices here. And Nova charged about half the price for implants. I had angels on my shoulders when the school assigned me to Dr. Borderick. I finally looked forward to going to the dentist again. I need Dr. B's services again, but he moved to the other side of the state and because I have given up on trying to keep any of my "real teeth" I am going yank them all out and go to full set implants. Doc if you are reading this, I think you need to come back to the east coast! Otherwise put in a good word with the professors at Nova so I can go back there and finish! And to the woman above that had appts canceled. I'm sorry that happened to you. Dr. B and his wife are both dentists with young children. You really should try again. Tell him JP asked you to give him a second chance. I think you will be able to forgive the cancellations once you have worked with him!

Dentist canceled appointments three (3) times and last time he canceled I was 5 mins away from the office. I actually cried and my husband felt helpless. Every time they rescheduled the appointment, it was always canceled. Waited 3 months to have procedure done. Finally gave up and found another dentist that helped me immediately. I am happy with my new dentist and I would definitely recommend him to anyone, which I already have done so.
